Let's try this again.

It's really odd that I've been considering getting back into blogging lately and today I chose to recreate something that was a part of my life for over a decade.  It's weird because I just checked out when I last posted on my old Passions for Teaching and Opinions blog.

I last posted a year ago.

Freaky!

My blog is back because I feel like writing.  I miss writing.  When I was hiking during the fall I was thinking about writing a book about teaching and constantly came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be able to release the book until after I retire because some of the things I would say would not go over well with the powers that be.  

So back to blogging.  

I lot has happened since I last posted.  

1)  I shut down the old Passion for Teaching and Opinions down because an ex-student went after me due to the content of my blog posts. 

2)  I had a heart attack.  I got a stent in my heart.

3)  I almost had a second heart attack.  I got another stent in my heart. 

I think that's enough.

I'll get into the heart attack and my second heart issue in later posts.  

I'm going to try this again.  I'm of the opinion that I'm an honest blog in the edublogsphere and that a good dose of reality is needed in the field of secondary education.
